50/50 features four original tracks—two by Silai Estatira, an anti-disciplinary artist, rapper, musician, writer, and activist; and two by Giovanni Innellai (Dr. G), an author, researcher, and educator whose work explores politics, economics, and culture through exhibitions, publications, and rap. Although both artists hail from different parts of the globe, both have been creatively active in Doha, Qatar. Produced by Michael Hersrud, Simone Muscolino, and Samip Khulal, the project blends diverse voices and global narratives.
50/50 is Sonic Jeel’s 4th special edition vinyl release, along with three other special edition cassette releases and several one-of-a-kind digital releases of performances and installations. Their work can be found on all major streaming platforms including Apple, Spotify, Youtube Music and others.
